A little laugh is a free and friendly email with short thoughts and quick advice along with what is making me laugh this week.

This week, I wanna tell you how to enjoy SUBSTACK. Yes, I literally just started my Substack and already I’m being bossy. Get on my level! But while we are down here, hear me out:

Use the Substack app.

Are you old enough to remember the joy of google reader? Are you old enough that you remember a time social media brought you joy? Are you old enough you are looking for another way to get a hit of dopamine, having given up all your vices because you are now middle age? Oh, you too? Perfect. You want the app.

The Substack app has the comment features that I miss from social media, and a chat feature, to fill in the hole of Twitter during live shared events (like, say, historical speeches from future presidents). It is easy and fun and really scratches the social media itch. But, MOST IMPORTANT, you can set it up so you aren’t getting emails! Read your Substacks in app, thereby containing the experience/joy without clogging your inbox! Win win!

My thumbs have been booked, busy, blessed. The memes have been flying; the HA HA replies have been replying. What a week for my fellow high school debate queens who also love a joke; it really was our time to shine.
